This policy applies to all payments processed through Paywido. Since Paywido acts as a payment aggregator, the refund eligibility depends on the type of transaction. Please read carefully.
📌 Important for "Buy Me a Coffee" style tips/donations:
Voluntary tips, donations, or "support" payments are generally non-refundable unless there is a duplicate transaction, fraud, or technical error on our side. We do not mediate disputes about the quality of content or gratitude.
Non-refundable scenarios: Change of mind, accidental tip amount (but not duplicate), dissatisfaction with creator's content. You are encouraged to double-check before sending.
Refundable scenarios: Duplicate transaction (same amount to same merchant within 5 minutes), unauthorized transaction (prove account compromise), system error that debited without completing.
If you purchased a product or service from a merchant using Paywido, the merchant is solely responsible for their own refund policy. You must first contact the merchant. If the merchant does not respond within 10 days or violates their own policy, you may escalate to Paywido, and we will investigate. Paywido may reverse the transaction if we find clear violation of Indian consumer law.
If a transaction fails but money is deducted, it will be automatically refunded within 5-7 business days. No action required. Duplicate charges will also be auto-refunded.
Step 1: Email refunds@paywido.com with your Transaction ID (starts with PW-), date, amount, and reason.
Step 2: Attach any proof (screenshots, merchant communication).
Step 3: We will acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 10 business days.
If a payer initiates a chargeback with their bank, we will temporarily hold the funds. We will represent the transaction if evidence supports the merchant. Chargeback fees (₹500+ taxes) may be passed to the merchant if the chargeback is lost.
For recurring payments (if enabled), you can cancel future billing from your dashboard at least 3 days before the next cycle. No refunds for past cycles.
Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original transaction. Beyond that, no refund will be processed except as required by law.
